Dr. x compl. 'Stablerae' (syn. Dr. tavelii) is a medium-sized fern with erect rhizomes and narrow-lanceolate blades. This species is nativ to Europe and Asia.

A small fern with long-creeping rhizomes and deciduous fronds. Frons are triangular and yellowish-green, up to 30 cm in high. It is nativ to Europe, Asia and North America.

This is a variety from O. sensibilis with red stipes. New fronds are reddish in spring. The red colour persists in the stipes almost all season but the laminae turn green with age.

The cinnamon fern is rare in our gardens. It grows very slowly. Sterile fronds are pinnate-pinnatifid. Fertile fronds are slightly taller than sterile ones and lack any green lamina. Pinnae are covered with cinnamon-coloured sporangia. The species is nativ to North America.

P. vulgare is a fern of acid banks and rocks. It grows best in low to medium light in soil with good drainage. This species is nativ to Europe and Asia.
